You may leave this bandage on for 3-5 days.
-
This bandage can be worn in the shower, but try to avoid fully submerging it in any type of water (baths, hottubs, pools, rivers/lakes, etc).
-
Pull the bandage slowly and as parallel to the skin as possible. Do NOT rip it off "like a bandaid".
-
Remove the bandage if the seal has broken around the egde. Tattoos with a lot of color/shading will sometimes cause the bandage to bubble/blister, but if it there are any leaks there is also a possibility that bacteria can get in.
-
Begin your aftercare routine as soon as this bandage has been removed.

You may remove this bandage at your discression following these guidelines:
-
If you go straight home after your tattoo appointment, feel free to remove it as soon as you're able to clean & moisturize the tattoo.
-
Do NOT leave the bandage on for more than several hours or overnight. This can cause the skin to become exposed to bacteria.

caring for your new tattoo
-
Be sure to remove your bandage as instructed above.
-
Always do this routune with freshly washed, clean hands!
-
Begin by washing your tattoo with the recommended soap of your choosing, and rinse thoroughly. Allow the soap to rest on the skin for 30-60 seconds. Do NOT scrub the skin or be rough. Avoid using exfoliants, loofahs, or wash cloths until the tattoo has completely healed.
-
Dry the skin by patting with a clean papertowel or cloth.
-
Once the skin has dried, apply the recommended moisturizer of your choosing. Do this in a thin layer. Avoid applying too thick.
-
Complete this routine 2-3 times a day. At the bare minimum, do this when you wake up in the morning & before you go to bed at night.
-
Maintain this routine for at least 2-4 weeks. The larger the tattoo, the longer you will need to keep this up.
-
If you work long hours away from home or work a "dirty job" I highly recommend taking some products to work with you to work to use on your lunch break.
